I had wanted to buy a product which is not made in China, as my earlier one also made in China and now broken after few usage, though it was bought from open market.
I thought 'Benro' name might be not made in China. Today I received the item, to my utter dismay, the upper part is made of cheap quality plastic, though it is very functional. The package include tripod, a carry case and warranty card, even though the ad said lifetime warranty, I am not sure where to get it!
The folded product in its carry case is little longer than my previous one.
Even though I have not liked the plastics part, I might be wrong and not judge by appearances alone. The initial testing was good with very fluid movements in all the 3 axis.
If you are regular and rough traveler, then I would suggest to buy a better sturdy and heavier one.
