Detail description of the featured services:
1. Breakdown support over phone
CarZ Assist shall understand basic problem prior to offering solutions. Some minor, recurring issues such as “meaning of certain indications on dashboard” etc. can be resolved over the phone.
2. On site minor repair
In the event of the immobilisation of your Vehicle due to mechanical or electrical breakdown and as long as the your vehicle can be repaired at the place of the immobilisation within a maximum time period of 45 minutes, CarZ Assist shall proceed with the repair of the breakdown.
3. Towing and / or Removal of the Covered Vehicles
In the event that your Vehicle is immobilised and on site repair is not possible, CarZ Assist shall arrange and bear the towing expenses of your Vehicle to the nearest authorized workshop.
CarZ Assist shall use Flatbed tow trucks for such services. In cases where it is not practical or feasible to use Flatbeds, it shall be done with prior information will be given.
In case the removal or extraction of the vehicle is needed, CarZ Assist shall try to arrange the service on payable basis. These costs shall be paid on-spot by client directly to the service provider.
4. Replacement Keys
If the keys necessary to access or operate your Vehicle are lost or misplaced, you may request urgent forwarding of another set from your place of residence. Keys must be given, by a person designated by the you, to a representative of CarZ Assist.
This service is applicable within a radius of 50 km from client’s registered address. In case such an incidence happens beyond 50 kms, CarZ Assist shall arrange for sending the same through courier.
5. Locked/ Lost Keys
In case the keys of the covered vehicle are locked-in, CarZ Assist shall help the client as much as possible to get keys out of the vehicle. Any breakage of glass or door beading, if required, shall be with prior approval of the client and to their account. In case the keys are lost CarZ Assist shall tow the vehicle to a nearest safe place.
6. Battery Jumpstart
If your Vehicle does not start due to a discharged battery, CarZ Assist shall arrange to jumpstart the vehicle.
7. Fuel Delivery
If your Vehicle runs out of fuel, CarZ Assist shall arrange for delivery of up to 5 litres of fuel (Petrol/ Diesel only). Fuel amount will be charged. The maximum cap is up to 5 liters due to practical problems/ hazardous nature of the service.
8. Wrong Fuelling
In case of Fuel contamination due to wrong fuelling, CarZ Assist shall either empty the fuel tank, under consultation and approval from CarZ or shall tow the vehicle to the nearest workshop whichever is suitable.
9. Flat Tyre Support
If your Vehicle has a punctured or burst tyre, CarZ Assist shall take care of changing it with the spare tyre carried in your vehicle, using a provider approved by CarZ Assist. In case the spare tyre is not available or the covered vehicle has two tyres punctured, the Company shall arrange to get the tyres repaired from the nearest tyre repair shop. The amount for the tyre to be bought will be charged and has to be paid to the tyre vendor.
10. Taxi Benefits
If your Vehicle is immobilized due to breakdown beyond 50 kilometers from the registered address, and if the Covered Vehicle is towed to nearest approved workshop, CarZ Assist shall provide local taxi to the customer for up to 50 kms, wherever required.
This service is to enable you to accompany the vehicle to the dealership or travel to the nearest convenient place. In case you wish to utilize this service for longer distance it can be done by directly paying to provider, as per prevalent rates, for additional round trip kilometers.
11. Relay of Urgent Messages
CarZ Assist shall take charge of relaying unlimited urgent messages from you, relating to any of the events covered by any services under this package.
12. Coordination for Rental Car
If your Vehicle is immobilized due to breakdown and towed to the nearest dealership, you may be given a chauffeur driven replacement vehicle on a payable basis. In this area CarZ Assist shall merely be a facilitator. All monetary or other transactions shall be directly between the client and service provider.
13. Coordination for Hotel Accommodation or Travel forward or Travel back to residence
If you are travelling outstation and your Vehicle is immobilized due to breakdown and towed to the nearest dealership, the client may be provided with suitable hotel accommodation or tickets for return or forward journey, on a payable basis. CarZ Assist shall merely be a facilitator and shall not be held responsible for quality of services. All monetary or other transactions shall be directly between the client and service provider.
14. Coordination for Repatriation of Vehicle
If your Vehicle is immobilized due to breakdown and repair of the immobilized vehicle takes extended hours for repair or in the case of theft of the vehicle and if the vehicle is repaired or recovered after you have left the place of the incident, then CarZ Assist shall make arrangements to repatriate the repaired or recovered vehicle on a payable basis.
In this area CarZ Assist shall merely be a facilitator and shall not be held responsible for quality of services. All monetary or other transactions shall be directly between the client and service provider.
15. Coordination for Legal Help
In case of any legal problem arising due to breakdown or accident, CarZ Assist shall provide contact details of the nearby professionals in related field, in order to provide convenience to clients, especially the ones travelling outstation.
In this area CarZ Assist shall merely be a facilitator and shall not be held responsible for quality of services. All monetary or other transactions shall be directly between the client and service provider.
Role of CarZ Assist shall end as soon as contact details are provided to the client. In case such services are not available in that area, CarZ Assist shall not be held responsible in any manner, whatsoever.
16. Coordination for Medical Help
In case of any medical problem arising at the time of vehicle breakdown, CarZ Assist shall provide contact details of the nearby professionals in related field, in order to provide convenience to clients, especially the ones travelling outstation.
In this area CarZ Assist shall merely be a facilitator and shall not be held responsible for quality of services. All monetary or other transactions shall be directly between the client and service provider.
Role of CarZ Assist shall end as soon as contact details are provided to the client. In case such services are not available in that area, CarZ Assist shall not be held responsible in any manner, whatsoever.
