Description

Regular dedication to this form of exercise increases your stamina, prevents a number of diseases, helps you manage your weight, strengthens your muscles to limit your chance of injury, improves your balance and even reduces anxiety. Building strong muscles can also have positive effects on your self-esteem

HOW TO USE:
Hold the Ab Roller with both hands and kneel on the floor. Now place the ab roller on the floor in front of you so that you are on all your hands and knees (as in a kneeling push up position). This will be your starting position. Slowly roll the ab roller straight forward, stretching your body into a straight position. Tip: Go down as far as you can without touching the floor with your body. Breathe in during this portion of the movement. After a pause at the stretched position, start pulling yourself back to the starting position as you breathe out. Tip: Go slowly and keep your abs tight at all times. Caution: This exercise is not advised for people with lower back problems or hernias. Variations: If you are advanced you can perform the exercise moving the ab roller to the sides in a diagonal fashion as opposed to straight forward. This version places more emphasis on the oblique’s

BENEFITS:
1. It’s good for your core stability
It’s not just great for your abs, despite its name. It can actually help develop all your core muscles in your midsection..
The core muscles help minimize extraneous movement and also stabilize your spine. These are crucial, especially when you’re moving, stretching, bending, or lifting.

2. It can boost your overall strength.
And don’t think that the physical improvements are limited to just your core either. With an ab wheel workout, you can help work your whole body and not just your core.
The way it works is that with the required movement and load, you’ll develop strength for various muscles in your body. That means you can help work not just your abs, but your arms and shoulders, your upper and lower back, and your hips and thighs.

3. It can minimize or reduce the frequency of back pain.

It strengthens your muscles so that they can keep your spine aligned and working properly, which can then lead to more infrequent back pain.

4. It’s very small and easy to store.

Not everyone one has the space to put in huge power cages, weights, treadmills, and rowing machines. You certainly won’t have enough space if you live in a small apartment in the city.
