Enjoy Loss Free Sound The FiiO X3 2nd Gen supports APE, WAV, FLAC, WMA and Apple Lossless formats. All these formats are used in music industry,
so any music fanatic need not worry about format compatibility issues. The FiiO X3 records the music in crystal clear quality at the rate of 192KHz/24Bit. Native DSD support has also been added to the 2nd Gen player so it can decode SACD ISOs directly. Dual Crystal Oscillators Dual crystall oscillators, which are dedicated to multiples of 44.1 kHz and 48kHz respectively, ensure that the FiiO X3 2nd Gen outputs at the lowest jitter level possible and provides the highest precision for playback of music at all sample rates. Chipsets used in FiiO X3 2nd Gen Audiophile-grade Architecture Utilising Cirrus Logic's top-flight CS4398 DAC coupled with a low-pass filter that was painstakingly tuned by the team at FiiO, the X3 has an extremely low noise and phase distortion. The device also uses premium tantalum capacitors in the analog circuit for minimum internal resistance so the sound is left uncoloured. High Quality DAC Chip for More Refined Output The X3 is equipped with a high quality DAC chip, which has been designed and engineered by the skilled engineers at the Cirrus Logic (formerly Wolfson Electronics). This mini chip is generally used in top-class CD players for audiophiles. Support has been added for 192 kHz/24bit playback as well as DSD Playback. DAC in use with Mac The device features both standard line out as well as Coaxial line out to allow you to plug into your high end stereo system. Bass and Treble Controls for Customized Listening The device features DSP technology based analogous circuit that allows you to customize bass and treble in your recordings to your requirement and taste. Moreover, you can also set the frequency of sound and noise distortion level with the single to and fro slide buttons on the front panel. Support for Inline Remotes on Earphones A new feature added to the second generation player is support for CTIA standard inline remotes, this allows you to control the player with the remote available on some headphone models. Allowing you to play & pause music as well as adjust the volume without having to take the player out of your pocket. New Power Management Features A hibernation mode has been added which allows the player to turn off and use minimal power but turn on instantly. The battery indicator has also been upgraded so it gives accurate percentage readings and the power button has been redesigned to be flush with the chassis to avoid accidental activations. FiiO X3 2nd Gen UI Themes Improved Build Quality An all metal chassis and high reflectance fine-grain faceplate bring the fit and finish of the 2nd gen model up a level. The unit is finished in an uber cool Titanium colour with tactile markers to make the buttons easy to use. The scroll wheel on the front makes selecting functions and songs a doddle. The unit features six unique new User Interface (UI) themes to choose from allowing you to customise it to your liking. The X3 2nd Gen features a Micro SD card slot that will take cards up to 128GB which will allow you to store a very large lossless library.
