Design
The Futronic Finger Print Scanner FS80 is a an ergonomically designed, handy and compact gadget that helps monitor biometrics for professional purposes such as office attendance, identification purposes and official biometrics collection purposes. It is very simple to install and fits into any compatible device through USB 2.0.
The device is supported by most popular OS such as Microsoft Windows (32-bit and 64-bit), Linux (32-bit only), Mac OS X (x86 32-bit and 64-bit), and Android. The sensor resolution of the scanner is 500 ppi and it uses an Optical CMOS sensor for increased accuracy. It uses touch for fingerprint capture and has an image capture area (Platen size) of 16 x 24 mm. The scanner is illuminated by 4 infra-red LEDs.
The resulting fingerprint image size is 320 x 480 pixels. The dimensions of the scanner are 45 x 63 x 26 mm and it weighs 120 g. The optimal operating temperature is between -10 Degree Celsius and +55 Degree Celsius and has a very flexible work environment.
The scanners are state of the art and use very precise optics thus producing almost undistorted fingerprint image.
