This portable Gitzo GT0531 Tripod is a unique tripod that has a locking collar above the tripod shoulder making it easier to adjust the column quickly. This is a tripod, especially designed for small cameras, lightweight camcorders and DSLRs with a 75 mm or 135 mm lens. Construction
The Gitzo GT0531 Tripod is made of high grade aluminium alloy that is very durable in nature and it can offer you extended usage without any problems at all. It has an Anti-Leg Rotation system which allows you to open and deploy the tripod rapidly. It is easily done by simply loosening all the twist locks simultaneously and pulling the legs down as per requirement and finally tightening the locks to make the system stable and keep it in place. The tripod legs can also be set independently in two positions.
Quick Release Plate
The tripod comes with a large adjustable pan head with a quick release plate that that allows you to change angles very easily without any difficulties. You can position any DSLR camera on this tripod for producing images and videos just the way you want them. It enables you to make panning as simple as it gets and you will be able to lock the camera in and out very easily.
Locking System
The 2-way pan head of this Gitzo GT0531 Tripod allows you to take smooth panoramic shots. It helps you move the camera horizontally with ease. It also prevents the tripod from slipping when taking images or extending beyond a certain height. The Gitzo Series 0 6X TR 3-Section G-LOCK Tripod features the ground-level setting allowing you to remove the centre column to save weight and get the camera closer to the ground. The hook is present at the bottom of the tripod centre column. It is extremely useful for long and heavy lenses as well as on uneven ground and windy conditions.
