The Gitzo SERIES 2 6X MOUNTAINEER 4-SECTION LONG TRIPOD WITH G-LOCK (GT2542L) features a reversible column which can be easily inverted for alternative shooting angles. The reversible centre column can also be used for low level macro photography. The centre column features a built-in hook which allows you to hang a stabilizing weight from the bottom of the tripod centre column like a full camera bag or a sand or water bag. It is useful long or heavy lenses and on uneven ground. The tripod features removable rubber feet. It allows you to easily change worn out rubber feet or to fit other accessories, such as spiked feet or snow or sand shoes.
 It also features the Anti-Leg Rotation System, allowing you a very rapid and smooth deployment of the tripod. It is easily done by simply loosening all the twist locks simultaneously and pulling the legs down as per requirement and finally tightening the locks to make the system stable and keep it in place.
