Minimum configuration is - PC with soundcard, and MAC.
The speakers are magnetically shielded for an interference-free environment. This shield shields against the magnetic field generated by speakers. For example, if a speaker is touching a CRT screen (television or computer), magnetic shielding is necessary to avoid disturbing the display.
Hercules XPS Diamond 2.0 USB Speaker has super compact satellite, which measures 9 x 6 x 8.5 cm only. A black velvet case with reinforced compartments is provided for protection and transport. A satellite is the name given to a speaker which does not reproduce bass frequencies. This speaker is therefore the satellite to a subwoofer. In a X.1 kit (2.1, 4.1, 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1), the digit before the point 1, i.e. the 2, 4, 5, 6 or 7, represents the number of satellites in the speaker kit. With Clear ABS base, the satellites seem to float in mid-air. This product complies with ROHS standards (XPS: Extended Personal Sound).
Hercules XPS Diamond 2.0 USB Speaker comes with a wired mini-remote control for volume setting s (+ / - / Mute). The 2.0 / StereoSystem is provided for transmitting sound over two channels.
