    What it contains in bottom, sand or need to fill water

    There are 2 types of Bop Bags: Bop Bag 1: Pre-filled with Sand, with only one plug hole on side. This bop bag, would come with only plug hole on the side, through which air needs to be blown. Since the sand is already pre-filled, once the air is blown to it, the bop bag would stand still automatically without any support, and balance itself vertically. Hence, no need to use water. Bop Bag 2: Not pre-filled and comes with two plug holes: one on the side and the other at the bottom. This bop bag, would come with 2 plug holes. The plug hole at the bottom should be used to fill water first. The plug hole on the side, should be used to fill air. Make sure, to fill water first at the bottom plug hole, before blowing air in the side plug hole. The compartment at the bottom which is filled with water, makes the bop bag balance and stand straight without any support. If air is blown first, then it would be difficult to put water at the bottom and the bop bag would not stand still without any support. It depends on what type of bop bag you are ordering or what kind of bop bag the seller is providing you. If you get type 2, you can either put sand or water. I ordered several bop bags and received both kind. When i received second type of bog bag, I filled it with water, rather than sand. I had no issues of any leakage. And the water was intact for more than a month. I am a bit skeptical of putting sand into it, if it could do any damage to the bop bag. Filling water at the bottom is convenient, easy and simple. Removing water is also hassle free.
