Description

Do - It - Yourself Kit to demonstrate how to create a magnetic field without direct use of magnet. HOW IT WORKS Insert the dry cells in the battery socket and observe, then push the push back switch and observe what happens... OBSERVATION: You will observe that first the Styrofoam ball floats on the surface of water. As soon as we push the push back switch the iron nail with the Styrofoam ball leaves the surface and goes down to the bottom of the syringe. WHY: This happens because of the induction. The Styrofoam ball is not very dense and has a lot of air. Because of its lesser density weight then water it floats on the surface. Switching on the power supply the iron nail with Styrofoam ball gets induction that is magnetic force to flow at the bottom of the syringe. When current is passed through the copper coil it forms electromagnetism i.e. magnetic field lines is created around the syringe which attracts the iron pin and thus iron pin leaves the surface and goes down to the bottom of the syringe. The Styrofoam ball gets partial force to flow down. In the same way the piston in the machine goes up and down. The framework is made of Plastic Material and other handmade parts. This product is designed for a demonstration purpose and single use. Apply your creativity while assembling. Assembly manual is provided with the kit.
