It is a combination of hard-case protection and multitude of pockets and storage options. The bag looks similar to any on-board luggage, which helps you in not being targeted as a photographer with overweight baggage. It holds 1 to 2 Pro DSLR camera bodies with 6-8 lenses (up to 400 mm), flash and many other photo accessories.
