6 Stage Purification Technology
The water in this purifier is purified in 6 stages starting with physical filtering to killing of bacteria at the microscopic level. The process starts with the sediment filter which removes large visible impurities and the activated carbon filter adsorbing impurities that makes it through. The cleaned water is then sent to the Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit where almost all of the dissolved solvents and impurities are removed. A small amount of water from the activated charcoal filter flows in parallel to the RO unit through an Ultrafilteration (UF) membrane with a size of 0.01-0.1 microns that retains all bacteria to join the rest of the water at the TDS control unit. The water from here flows through an Ultraviolet filter that destroys any remaining microbes.

90 per cent TDS Reduction
The RO filter in the Kent Pristine RO water purifier removes much of the total dissolved solids concentration making the water potable. The efficient filtration system beings the water TDS levels down to safe drinking proportions without losing essential minerals through the use of a TDS control.
Purification Capacity
The purifier can purify water up to 15 litres per hour with inlet water having a high TDS of 750 PPM. Throughout the day, in one duty cycle it can filter 75 litres a day.
Storage Capacity
The inbuilt water storage tank in the Kent Pristine RO water purifier can store up to 8 litres of water which is more than enough for an entire family.
