Synopsis
Life Is What You Make It is the story of young female protagonist whose life is shaken by her destiny in a highly unexpected way. The plot is set across two Indian cities in 1989. At the beginning of the story Ankita is found to be reading letters those she has exchanged with Vaibhav and from that point on, the story goes into the flashback mode telling the readers how Ankita has ended up in her hospital bed. She is a girl from a conservative middle class family and is smart, career-oriented, confident, young, attractive, sweet, and happy go lucky type. In spite of her smooth sailing life, she is haunted by some issues from her past and in a cruel turn of events life suddenly snatches away everything for her when one fine day she is admitted to a mental hospital. Though this a love story at heart, this is also about unconquerable human spirit that does not succumb to destiny and instead fights back.
