Technology
Luminous ILTT 18048 consists of an internal structure made of a series of positive plates/Anodes and a series of negative plates/Cathodes. These plates are made of corrosion-resistant spine alloy to give longer battery life. All plates are immersed into diluted Sulphuric Acid electrolyte. In between these plates, there is DARAMIC-USA separator which minimizes the rate of internal short circuits. All Anodes are connected to an external positive terminal and all Cathodes to an external negative terminal. When direct current is passed inside the battery through these terminals, it triggers electro-chemical reaction and generates energy. The model holds 21 litres of Electrolyte Volume and an Acid Level Indicator.
