The ninth installment of the series, this racing video game was developed by EA Black Box. This is a street racing-oriented game play, with selected customisation options from the Need for Speed: Underground series. Like in other Need for Speed, even in Most Wanted, players can sneak past cops, evade the most dangerous of street racers or even create havoc. Become the most wanted driver, don your racing spirit and race across the city, challenge other players to win their cars. The game allows you to break the law as you burn rubber in checkpoint events.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) offers three game modes, The Quick mode (player can select a car, an event and start racing), Career mode (with the game's progress available cars and events get unblocked) and Challenge Series-mode (involves 69 difficult challenges, players are required to complete Tollbooth races and pursuit challenges). Most Wanted also inherits several racing modes featured in other series while the existing modes include circuit races, point-to-point sprint races, lap knockout races and drag races with the exclusion of Drifting, Street X, Underground Racing League tournaments and Outrun racing.USP:
With multiplayer up to 4 players can participate online and race in 4 game modes (circuit, sprint, lap knockout and speed trap). Additionally an option to enable Performance Matching is available and when it is enabled all cars in the race are automatically upgraded to match the performance however, when the race gets over all modifications made are removed.Key Note:
