The Portronics Charge X Portable Universal Charger has been designed to be compatible with smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, portable speakers, Bluetooth dongles or any device that is USB enabled.
The Portronics Charge X Portable Universal Charger features two USB ports, and a 5,600 mAh battery that lays claim to being four times bigger than most Android phone’s batteries and thereby allowing users to carry it around without worrying about the availability of a power socket. It is packed with two different connectors – microUSB and Apple’s proprietary port which means that the microUSB can be used for all regular devices and the Apple connector can be used to hook up the charger to an iphone or even an iPad. It also features a built in LED light to show the battery power availability, as well as a battery indicator that shows the level of charge.
The company claims that the Portronics Charge X Portable Universal Charger can provide up to 24 additional hours of calling, 120 additional hours of music, and 30 additional hours of Wi-Fi or video playback, on a single charge. The Charge X device can reportedly also sustain its own charge for nearly a year, if not used, thus preventing any drain of energy.
