The first External Hard Disk which is as silent as blood flowing in your veins. The system detects this hard disk in less than 5-6 seconds which is quite quick and amazing, owing to it's 3TB size. Also, with the USB 3.0, the file transfer rate is amazing. I transferred 340 GB of data in less than 20 minutes.. Now you can calculate it's speed!! My verdict: Just go for it!! You won't regret!!

Product Is Very Good,

This is an excellent product by Seagate. Easy to setup and it is quite fast as well. The Dashboard software bundled with the drive is good and offers a lot of features. Most of the operations are driven by just a few clicks. You can setup custom backup policies as well and then just relax :) I tried deleting some files from my primary drive and then restored from the backups done through the Dashboard software and the recovery was fast and restored it to the correct location as well. Note: Its not exactly a problem, but using the Dashboard software creates the backups in nested folders on the drive. It might be a bit difficult to navigate and locate the correct backups. Apart from that there's no issues. I will post again after a few days of using the drive.

The Transfer Speed in USB 3.0 is just Fantastic, & its the Best for Storage of HD Videos & BIG Data. # Easy to Set-up, very Quiet, and Faster Data Transfer over USB 3.0. I am just ♥ing it. :)

Great Product. Got transfer speed of average 50 Mbps via USB3.0 and teracopy. Very compact for 3 tb, and runs noiselessly. Definately a worth buy if u require the space beacuse of the product itself, and also price is great too.
