The product was shipped on the same day and received within two days. This was a brand new piece with Mfd:12/12 and import date 01/13. Seems to be working fine after i week usage.

Now this exteral hard drive i bought was hard to get in first place.. But lets just skip till the end and my xperience with it :-
1> Nice compact and portable.
2> Silent operation.
3> No power button, (Biggest cons)
4> Device gets disable and my PC makes a noise (which u hear when u disconnect any USB device) and than again makes that noise (which u hearwhen u connect a USB device).. Means u sometimes face problem transferring file or watching movie from external hard drive..

Seems that the device cant take power properly..
Surprising coz i got battery backup.. Computer works and even my 5.1 speaker works than y this device not getting enough power.. I dont know if seagate knows about it..
But over all Good to use.. M somewhat satisfied with it.. Thanks!!
