The Sony VPL-CW255 has been designed to deliver you the best experience of projection. Watch clear and bright pictures with the three brightness modes—High mode: 4500 lumens, Standard mode: 3400 lumens and Low mode: 2500 lumens. The High mode offers naturally white presentations in bright rooms, Standard mode has been designed for everyday use and Low mode presents clear video in darkened rooms.

 

The Sony projector offers a throw ratio of 1.32—1.91:1 and incorporates a 0.75 inch BrightEra inorganic TFT 3 LCD projection system that comprises of 3 different LCD panels. The throw ratio accommodates the majority of installation replacements in all corporate environments like a large classroom or a large meeting room. The improved panel have features like light resistance, high resolution, high brightness and increased panel reliability. It has been developed with WXGA (1280 x 800) 16:10 screen resolution panel which is perfect for making presentations direct from a laptop or PC because it improves the quality of the presentation for the viewer.

 

The projector incorporates high-performance lamp. The new driving scheme reduces the gap expansion and brightness gradation. Also, the projector has a new cooling system that lets consistency in the temperature of the glass bulb which prevents the glass from clouding and thus increases the shelf life of the lamp to 5000 hours.

 

The Sony VPL-CW255 offers considerably low power consumption with its Eco mode. Push the Eco Mode key on either the projector or the supplied Remote Commander™ unit and select an energy saving setting from the mode menu as per your convenience.

 

The Lamp Dimming feature reduces power consumption and brightness by 10-15%. Basically, the device saves on power consumption by 30% by gradually reducing the brightness of the lamp automatically, if no input signal is detected for a certain period of time or after a pre-set time assigned by the user. Also, the Picture Mute feature reduces the power consumption by 30% which helps in saving unnecessary consumption of power, saves cost and lamp hours.

 

The VPL-CW255 projector is capable of correcting the keystone distortion by V: +/- 30%, H: +/- 20% for the perfect installation adjustment. The projector has APA technology that automatically optimises Phase, Pitch and Shift values to provide an amazing output.

 

Sony VPL-CW255 has incorporated six different picture modes, namely: Dynamic, Standard, Game, Blackboard, Cinema and Presentation for optimised picture quality. Also, the device has been designed with Digital Zoom that allows you to enlarge a selected area of the screen image, if you are displaying a computer-sourced image.
