This projector offers a throw ratio feature of 1.37:1 to 1.80:1 that lodges the majority of installation replacements in all corporate environments.
The Sony projector has three brightness modes- High, Standard and Low. These modes are designed for different usages. High mode offers naturally white presentations in bright rooms; Standard mode is suitable for everyday use and Low mode is used for presenting clear video in darkened rooms.
It comprises of brilliant power saving features like Lamp dimming, Auto Mode to adjust brightness, Picture Mute and Eco Gauge function. This makes the device more eco-friendly and cost-effective.

The Sony VPL-DX140 projector comprises of three brightness modes- High, Standard and Low. These modes are capable of handling various usages. The Sony VPL-DX140 includes a 1.6 cm (0.63) BrightEra inorganic TFT 3 LCD projection system which includes 3 different LCD panels. This improved panel type includes vital features like light resistance, high resolution, high brightness and increased panel reliability. With the help of this projection system, the Sony projector presents crisp and bright images.
Long-lasting Lamp and Eco Mode
The Sony projector incorporates high-performance lamp to deliver amazing picture performance. The new driving scheme of the Sony VPL-DX140 reduces the gap expansion. This gap expansion reduces brightness gradation. The projector has a new cooling system that offers consistency in the temperature of the glass bulb which prevents the glass from clouding and thus increases the shelf life of the lamp to 7000 hours. The Sony VPL-DX140 delivers remarkably low power consumption due to which the user can save big on their hefty electricity expenses. All this is possible with a single push of the Eco Mode key. Push the Eco Mode button on either the projector or the supplied Remote Commander unit and select an energy saving setting from the mode menu as per your convenience.
Intelligent Power Saving Feature
The Sony VPL-DX140 is an eco-friendly device which has Auto Mode (Auto Brightness Adjustment Function). This mode automatically adjusts the brightness of the lamp’s output in accordance with the brightness of the projected image. As a result of which, the device eliminates unnecessary usage of power. For example, if the image is dark, the device consumes less energy by dimming the lamp to a maximum of 70 percent.
Picture Mute - (Instant off / Instant On)
The Sony VPL-DX140 projector comes with a new feature of Picture Mute. This feature is capable of reducing the power consumption of the projector device by 30 percent. It makes the device cost effective, along with which it helps in saving unnecessary consumption of power and lamp hours.
ECO Gauge
The Sony VPL-DX140 projector has a feature of Eco Gauge which is an indicator to show, how well you have used the projector. This indicator appears at the time of projector shut down. The Eco Green Leaf will appear more with your use of Eco feature. This is calculated by your regular use of Eco function and actual usage of lamp wattage.
Vertical Keystone Adjustment
The Sony projector has the capability of rectifying the keystone distortion by +/- 30 percent for the perfect installation adjustment to the smart board or screen.
Smart APA Technology
APA stands for Auto Pixel Alignment which optimises Pitch, Phase and Shift values to provide an amazing output.
Digital Zoom Feature
VPL-DX140 comes with a Digital Zoom feature that allows you to enlarge a selected area of the screen image up to four times, if you are displaying a computer-sourced image.

The Sony VPL-DX140 will make you forget the long and time consuming power down cycle. It has been designed in such a manner that once your presentation is done, you can turn off the power supply to the projector immediately. This saves time and reduces power usage.
Power On or Power Off Directly

Multiple Picture Modes
The Sony VPL-DX140 has six different picture modes, namely: Dynamic, Standard, Game, Blackboard, Cinema and Presentation. You are free to select any of them as per the nature of the source material.
