Synopsis J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of The Rings is an unequivocal fantasy fiction novel. A tale of adventure and magic most dangerous comes through the protagonist Frodo Baggins who begins his journey to demolish the One Ring in this collection, divided into seven abstracted volumes for easy reading. This novel is about Bilbo Baggins who lives in the town of Hobbiton. Bilbo in the beginning of the novel gives his nephew Frodo with an unforeseen gift. This gift is the most curious ring that turns its wearer invisible. However Bilbo does nto know about the magnitude of the peril he has put Frodo into, for the ring is no ordinary bauble.
About the Author John Ronald Reuel Tolkien is known to be the father of the fantasy genre and he is best known for writing The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales of Numenor and Middle-Earth. Professor Tolkien gained his education in English Language and Literature from Exeter College, Oxford. He loved creating languages, and his work on Middle-Earth has since elevated to cult-status after the release of the Oscar Winning movie trilogy directed by Peter Jackson.
