Titanfall is an online multiplayer video game; however it incorporates single-player elements like character, plot and chatter besides the non-player characters into the matches. The players fight with other players in matches that are scheduled on a war-torn planet in the form of mech-style Titans and their pilots. The action is undoubtedly fast-paced allowing players to hijack other mechs and even run on walls. Respawn, the developer of this incredible video game depicts it as a game where verticality, scale and story are brought to the first-person shooter multiplayer gaming. The game starts with up to twelve players who can pick their choice of pilot types and are dropped on the game map. The players have to deploy a Titan within a specified time; however it gets less by killing other players. Titans are protected for about 30 seconds of deploying that also saves the player-pilot. There are several kinds of Titans, each one different from other in terms of animations and abilities. Vortex blocker and electrified smoke are some of the exceptional game-balancing abilities of Titan. Further, the controls of Titan and Pilot are almost same except where the double jump of latter becomes the former’s dash since Titans are unable to jump, cove or crouch. Pilot is equipped with Smart Pistol ability in which he shoots around the corners. Titanfall ends up in the form of a race where the losing team evacuates from the dropship.
Titanfall has introduced three different class of Titan in this title: the ponderous Ogre, the agile Atlas and the nimble Stryder. The hostage rescuers are put in opposition to the defensive kidnappers in the Attrition multiplayer mode. Militia, the civilian military force of the frontier resists the IMC usage of colony resources. Previous mutiny leader and Titan War veteran MacAllan, Intel specialist as well as engineer Bish along with Marauder Corps head Sarah are the crucial members of the Militia.
