Overview
The TP-Link TD-W8970 is an all-encompassing device that functions like several networking devices packed into one. Equipped with a 4-Gigabit-Port Switch, a NAT router, ADSL2+ modem, and a fast 300Mbps wireless access point, the TP-Link TD-W8970 is a power-packed device that saves you the trouble of buying multiple devices to access and share high-speed internet connections.
High Speed
The device is equipped with ADSL, 3G/4G modem, Ethernet WAN. This supports several types of Internet connection. Equipped with Ethernet ports, 4 Gigabit LAN ports, and a speedy 300Mbps 802.11n wireless port, this router offers a speedy and reliable connection for bandwidth-intensive work and entertainment. This includes HD video streaming, lag-free con calls, online gaming, etc.

Easy Sharing
The sleek router has one multi-functional USB 2.0 port, using which you can share files, printers, and other media throughout the network in your home with many different laptops/computers/tablets; and even away with the help of the device’s FTP server functions.
Flexibility
The TP-Link TD-W8970 supports ADSL and Ethernet WAN connections. You can choose between ADSL, cable or fibre modem by using the device’s interchangeable LAN/WAN port. Thanks to this feature, it becomes easy for you change to fibre or cable services when required. Further, the EWAN to LAN throughput can achieve up to 900Mbps+ speed.

Ports and Buttons
The router has four 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 Ports, one USB 2.0 port, and one RJ11 Port. It has a power button, a WPS button, a Wi-Fi on/off button, and a reset button. Its dimensions are 225 x 140 x 32.5 mm (W X D X H). It also has two 5dBi omni directional, detachable, and reverse SMA antennae.

The router’s wireless standards are IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n. The TP-Link TD-W8970 gives a frequency of 2.400-2.4835GHz, and a transmit power of <20dBm(EIRP). In terms of wireless security, you get Support 64/128 bit WEP, Wireless MAC Filtering, WPA and WPA2, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.

With this router you get SPI Firewall, NAT Firewall. You also get MAC / IP / URL Filtering.
