Exceptional Wireless Technology

The TP-Link TL-SF1008P features eight 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ports that can easily auto negotiate, enable the switch to support up to four PoE ports to satisfy several Internet access requirements through single device. The router comes with an integrated smart load balancing function that offers automatic selection of the best line based on the load and bandwidth needs, presenting consistent network uptime and reliable Ethernet connectivity to the users. It complies with 802.3af standard. The store-and-forward feature of this device performs error checking in the transmitted data. Store-and-Forward transmission method initiates waiting until the entire data frame has arrived before to forwarding it. This ingress buffering process flexibly support any mix of Ethernet speeds, beginning with 10 Mbps.

Advanced Firewall Features

The IEEE802.3x Flow Control supports Full-Duplex Mode and Half-Duplex Mode on each port to minimize dropping of packets when the ports receiving buffer are occupied. This gives you a more reliable connection for all of your connected devices. For creating a defence against external threats, TP-Link TL-SF1008P automatically detects as well as blocks Denial of service (DoS) attacks such as Ping of Death, TCP/UDP/ICMP Flooding, and other related threats. The IP/MAC/URL/WEB filtering function prevents attacks from harmful intruders and viruses. Further, for applications including FTP, H.323, SIP, IPsec and PPTP which are not easily compatible with NAT, the router administers one-click ALG security option for each particular application.

Other paramount features

Port Priority Function

The Port Priority feature promotes optimal working of the system, according to which the Port 4 has the least priority; hence power will be cut off when the total power consumption of connected PoE PDs exceeds 57W. You can connect your preferred devices according to your priority requirements.

Overloading Capacity

The TP-Link TL-SF1008P employing its priority function protects the system when the system power becomes overloaded. If all PoE power devices consume a 57W power, then a priority can be arranged amongst the provided PoE ports, based on which system will automatically cut of the power from the lowest-priority port.
