  1. Why do I need to buy Annual Maintenance
Contract - Onsite from
Snapdeal.com?
Manufacturers
provide warranty on their products for a very limited period of time. After
that period is expires, you are at risk of spending thousands of rupees if your
product fails and needs a repair or replacement.
AMC - Onsite
not only extends the protection on your Laptop by 1 (one) year, but also
enhances the coverage and services provided during the extended period which
starts immediately after the end of the Original Manufacture’s Limited
Warranty.
WBC AMC -
ONSITE shall service at location. Customer is not required to visit any WBC
Authorised Service Centre.
2. Â How
long after my Laptop purchase date can I purchase this AMC - Onsite?
The
WBC AMC – ONSITE may only be purchased after 3 months have passed from the date
of original Laptop’s purchase date.

Can I purchase AMC - Onsite for my laptop even if I have not purchased a laptop
from Snapdeal.com?
Yes, you can
buy AMC - Onsite from Snapdeal.com for any laptop after 3 months have passed
from the date of original Laptop’s purchase date, even if you have not
purchased the laptop from Snapdeal.com.
4. What all is covered under AMC –
Onsite and How?
a)
WBC AMC - ONSITE is exclusive and is
not a part / AMC - ONSITE provided by the manufacturer.
b)
This WBC AMC - ONSITE covers only
mechanical and electrical failures of Laptop that occur during normal use.
c)
No Software support is provided,
except only in the case of a HDD (Hard Disk) failure and where the same HDD was
replaced / repaired, will the Operating System and relevant drivers be
installed.
d)
The user needs to provide the
relevant media in which the Operating system and Drivers for the Laptop are
present.
e)
WASC engineer will not provide any Operating
System, Software or Drivers, but may only install the Operating System and
drivers from the media as provided by the user.
f)
WarrantyBazaar or WASC or its
technical team or engineer will not be liable for the legality of the Operating
System as shared by the user.
g)
Within WBC AMC - ONSITE period, WASC
will repair or replace any defective part(s) of the Product(s), if required, to
rectify the problem in the Product(s) at no added cost.
h)
AIPL reserves the right to use new
or re-engineered part(s) with performance parameter equivalent to the similar
new part(s), for performing the WBC AMC - ONSITE services.
i)
If any parts are required, the same
is not required by user to be purchased.
5.
The replaced part(s) shall become
the property of AIPL.
6.
In the event of repairs or
replacement of any part(s), during the WBC AMC - ONSITE period, the WBC AMC -
ONSITE of the Product shall thereafter continue only for the unexpired period
of original WBC AMC - ONSITE.
7. Which Laptops are covered?
All laptops
under following brands are covered- Acer, Apple, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HCL, IBM,
Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Universal and Wipro.
8. Where do I go to get my Laptop Repaired
/ Serviced?
You do not
have to go anywhere!!

Free Number 1-800-102-9991 and log your call. Our Service Engineer will come to
your place after taking prior appointment from you.
9. How do I Register my Laptop after
buying the AMC – Onsite?
After
successful passing of a “Health Check†within 10 days WarrantyBazaar will
register the Laptop in their system for WBC AMC – ONSITE.
Therein
after the Registration of the Laptop will be carried out at WarrantyBazaar end
and the customer will receive related physical supporting documents on same
within 30 days at the address shared during purchase of the WBC AMC – ONSITE.
An email will be mailed at the registered email ID of the customer within 10
working days.
10. What is not covered?
a)
Accessories & parts like
battery, charger, casing, cover, plastic body parts, memory card, data cable,
External attachments, any add-on USB Laptops / Cards and any third party
applications etc.
b)
Not covered are any Data losses or
Hardware failure due to Software upgradation, installation of third party
applications by the user.
c)
All data to be backed up by user and
will not be the responsibility of the WBC authorised engineer.
d)
Any loss occurred to Laptop due to
negligence, ignorance and non-compliance by customer.
e)
No physical damage, like scratches,
cracks, fractures, breakage of Housing, LCD panel or failure due to any liquid
spillage, corrosion, burn and oxidation.
f)
Any loss due to accidental,
intentional or unintentional, negligence, ignorance, abuse, misuse and
non-compliance by customer of the Manufacture’s guidelines.
g)
Any loss due to act of God, Fire,
Flood, War, Earthquake, Act of Violence, Stolen, lost, or any other similar
occurrences.
h)
Any loss due to virus, short
circuit, explosion of battery, non compatible accessory used by customer.
i)
Service support if requested in any
other country except
j)
If the product during its warranty
period from the manufacture, is declared dead / non repairable by the
Manufacturer.
k)
WASC engineer will not provide any
Operating System, Software or Drivers, but may only install the Operating
System and drivers from the media as provided by the user.
l)
WarrantyBazaar or WASC or its
technical team or engineer will not be liable for the legality of the Operating
System as shared by the user.
m)
If any upgradation is done to the
existing Laptop by the user, wherein a repair or service solution is not
required, the cost of same will have to be borne by the user. For any such
upgraded parts the existing WBC AMC - ONSITE will not be applicable.
