YSL Elle Women is an earthy, woody and soft spicy fragrance for women. It was designed by Olivier Cresp and Jacques Cavallier and was launched in 2007.
Elle is inspired by a powerful woman who lives life on her own terms, free from the restrictions and prejudices, and has the courage and dedication to pursue her passions. The fragrance opens with citrus, fresh fruity and floral accords that alleviate your mood instantly. The heart is a harmony of sweet floras with a youthful twist of pink berries that adds the joyful, mischievous streak to the fragrance. The base is softly caressing with woody accords. The fragrance is not overtly sweet or overtly woody; it is just the right mix for the right woman. It comes in a stylish and chic purple elongated flacon which correctly pictures the dynamic contents. This beautiful modern fragrance can be worn during cold nights, for formal as well as casual occasions.
The top notes are bright, crisp lemon and litchi on peony petals. The middle notes are a unification of Jasmine Sambac, rose and freesia, with youthful accords of pink berries. The base is dominantly woody with notes of vetiver, patchouli, and cedar.
