Description

This self help book was published by Cambridge University Press in the year 2000.

Synopsis:

Advanced English Grammar is a book based on the rules of grammar to help students enhance their skills in English Grammar. Grammar, being the base of any language, is the most important ingredient in the creation of the basic structure of any sentence. Advanced English Grammar provides condensed explanations to the confusing and sometimes contradictory rules of English Grammar. Having done so, it then provides a set of exercises for practice. Containing over 100 units, the book focuses on grammatical patterns, grammatical contrast etc. Each unit is complete in itself so that a student does not feel lost, if he so chooses, to pick a topic from the middle of the book. Hence, students can choose topics that they want to work upon at their own pace. Divided into four appendix sections namely: Basic Question Forms, Verb Forms, Irregular Verbs and Basic Question Forms, this book provides a complete revision for an advanced English student.
