Description

Synopsis:
This book is based on Rusty, the boy whose stories have charmed and entertained children for years. He compiles together his best adventures in one volume. From the time he was a boy living with his grandparents in Dehra, surrounded by an assortment of odd animals, people and relatives, to when he gets sent away to school, then makes his way to London and becomes a writer, Rusty had more adventures than we can ever count. The Adventures of Rusty contains short stories that include incidents involving an encounter with a leopard, Toto the monkey that travels on a train in a bag, and many more. Some of the stories include The Last Tonga Ride, Monkey Trouble, A Far Cry from India, and The Wish. An evergreen classic of children's writing in India, Rusty's stories will be enjoyed like never before in this omnibus edition. Many 'Rusty' stories were even brought to the small screen, in the TV Serial Ek Tha Rusty. This book is a must buy, available at reasonable price.
