Book DescriptionAn animal farm unlike any other animal farm, Manor farm has a drunken owner, Mr. Jones, incompetent human workers and the poor animals are oppressed. Fed up with their poor state, the animals decide to rise in rebellion and take up the farm. Although things start off well but they do not progress as well as they would have hoped too.
About the AuthorEric Arthur Blair, more famously known as George Orwell was an English poet, novelist and essayist. His work is marked by clarity, intelligence and wit. He is most popular for his two novels Nineteen Eighty Four and Animal Farm. In 2008, The Times ranked him second on a list of "The 50 greatest British writers since 1945". He died of severe Tuberculosis in 1950 at the age of 46.
