Bloomsbury India published and organised a book launch function of the historical, revolutionary and most awaited book of the time “Ashutosh Maharaj : Mahayogi ka Maharehasya”, a biography of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan), written and complied by Sandeep Dev . The book launch was conducted at Authors Corner, Hall No. 6 at World Book Fair in Pragati Maidan New Delhi on 17th January 2016.
The felicitous program was started with the panel discussion on “Bhartiya Darshana main Samadhi” which was also the key feature of this event. Shri Sandeep Dev (Author), Shri Ram Bahadur Rai (Senior Journalist & Editor ‘Yathavat’ magazine), Shri Manoj Tiwari (MP, North East Delhi & Bhojpuri singer & actor), Prof. Makhan Lal (Delhi Institute of Research and Heritage Management), Dr. B.N. Mishra (Forensic science expert) and Shri Shantanu Gupta (Yuva Foundation) were the chief speakers who presented their scholarly views regarding the topic. The launch was flooded with intellectual audience who were desperately keen and excited for the release of the enlightening book.
“The divine Samadhi of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj which was deeply criticised and mocked by the national and international media intrigued and sensitised me to scrutinize the issue.” said the author Sandeep Dev . He admired the exclusiveness of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj who never portrayed himself as a public figure in media but still won the hearts of numerous devotees across the world. He concluded his words by saying that the ancient science of Samadhi which has been the integral part of our ancient Indian culture is being restored and revived by Shri Ashutosh Maharaj in the present era.
“Ashutosh Maharaj has opened up the avenue towards the inner spiritual world that leads to the complete transformation of the human being and his Samadhi is not less than a miracle in the contemporary era which is being testified by the undaunted faith of his millions of followers regarding his return.” said the senior journalist Ram Bahadur Rai.
Prof Makhan Lal also supported the deep concept of Samadhi by emphasizing on the fact that science is temporally transient but spirituality is consistent, eternal and unchanging. “Ashutosh Maharaj had attained the eighth and final stage of Yog viz. Samadhi and people who have knowledge regarding this concept of Yog have no reason to doubt this fact”, he added up. Dr B.N. Mishra also gave their affirmative and assertive views regarding the age old concept of Samadhi. The ceremony ended up with the praiseworthy words of the eminent guests who were themselves eager to read the book.
