ASUS Vivo Tab RT comes in a metallic-finished design and is ultra-slim and light weight. Weighing merely 525g and measuring 8.3mm in size, ASUS Vivo Tab RT is the lightest tablet ever. The reason for its reduced space and weight is the Nano Molding Technology (NMT). With the use of NMT, plastic is injected at a nano level, after which the particles accumulate and form together. Tiny particles infiltrate like tree roots to grow deep into the material. The plastic then grafts itself to the metallic surface, which eventually reduces the space and weight of the tablet.
ASUS Vivo Tab RT comes with the best-in-class camera. The 8MP camera with back-illuminated CMOS improves image clarity and reduces grain for low-light environments. The 2MP front camera is designed for 1080p video-conferencing with 1366x768 resolution. The large F/2.2 aperture, 5-element lens and hybrid IR filter capture more light to provide better image quality with more accurate colour. The dynamic auto-focus mode with touch to focus function focuses tracking on moving subjects and increases the shutter speed to reduce blur. With the 1080p video recording feature, you can record crystal clear videos at high resolution in 1080p with both front and rear cameras. Furthermore, the built-in LED flash provides sufficient light in the dark while taking photos or video recording.
