Basic Robot kit For Starters & Learners - ROB_SL_PMS Overview: The best kit for robotics beginners, which will help you to make your first robot. This kit gives you everything you need to build the shell of a 2-wheel-drive Robot. You get the 3-wheeled chassis, two 3-12 VDC BO-motors and wheels. Based on motoring principle, Students can experiment Forward direction, Reverse direction, Turning & other basic functions. You can upgrade this robot any time as per your need, applications & imagination with use of additional components. (Available in kit format with planmystudy) such as addition of Motor Driver PCB & control signal thru DPDT switches, Wired control, Wireless control, dynamic & programmable control signal from microprocessors, Computers & other board such as Arduino, Signals from one or more sensors in combination & much more. Kit Inclusion & Requirements: • 1 x 3 wheeled chassis (2 motor wheel+ castor wheel) • 2 x High Torque DC bo-motors • 2 x Wheels (Dia-7cm, width-0.7cm) • 1 x Castor wheel • 9 V Battery Connector • Few hardware such as Wires, Cable ties etc. for holding motors and wheels. • Instruction Guide. 9V Battery not included. (safety point of view in shipping the kit) Construction & Operation. 1) Attach a Castor wheel in front of the chassis. Use screws or cable if required only. 2) Attach both the 9V DC bo-motors to the rear side of the chassis using cable ties 3) Attach the wheel to the chassis use 9.5*4 screws if required 4) Connect the connections to the both motors in parallel from 9V Battery as shown in fig. 5) You can hold battery to chassis by Cable tie 6) Now the Robot is ready for some action, See pictures for reference. This model can be used as basic robot which can be controlled as a) Forward direction, b) Reversed direction c) Turning or rotating in one direction by cutting off the supply to one of the motors. You must be knowing that when 9V battery connection are reversed ( power supply to motors is reversed) the motor will move in reverse direction. Same function can be used to demonstrate above forward, Reverse or Turning directions.
