6 Stage Purification Technology
The Blue Star water purifier passes the water through a 6 stage purification process that begins with a pre sediment filter that takes away large particle impurities. It then passes through an activated carbon filter impregnated with copper that removes odor and volatile organic compounds from the water. The next stage is a super fine sediment filter with a 5-micron membrane that strains any impurity left before the RO. The reverse osmosis lowers the dissolved solids in the water making it safe to drink. A UV lamp in the next stage destroys all the bacteria, viruses and cysts before sending it to the final unit which consists of an activated carbon scrubber for final filtering.
Advanced Alert System
The alert systems in the Blue Star RO water purifier let the users know when the filters of the purification units come to the end of their life and need to be replaced. There is also an alert when the storage tank reaches full capacity.

The filter can handle inlet water with TDS levels of 2000 ppm and bring it down to within safe consumption limits.
