Background: Call Of Duty: Black OPS II repeats history with greater and more intense action and death defying plots for all you hard core action gamers. The video game is a first-person shooter published by Activision. The game has a current ESRB rating of RP M+ meaning Rating Pending and targeted for “Mature” audience. A sequel to the Call Of Duty: Black OPs (2010), Black Ops II is the 9th instalment in the Call of Duty franchise of video games.Synopsis & Feautures: Black OPs II features futuristic warfare technology along with branching storyline driven by player choice, making it the first in the franchise to present such a feel. In order to introduce the 2 connected storylines the single-player campaign has been designed to guide or to play, driving the plot of the game. Set in the late 70’s and early 80’s the earlier edition comes with the protagonist of Black OPs, Alex Mason who fights in proxy wars for the United States in the Cold War. Raul Menendez, the game's primary antagonist also adds to the plot factor of the second storyline. Frank Woods, Mason's colleague and friend also makes an appearance narrating the second storyline which takes place in the near future of 2025. The protagonist of 2025 section in Call Of Duty: Black Ops II is David Mason, son of Alex Mason. With the outbreak of new cold war between new rivals China and the USA, a crippling attack on the Chinese Stock Exchange is witnessed. Modern technology with unmanned vehicles, robotics and cyber warfare takes the centre stage in 2025. With the export ban of rare earth elements by China Raul Menendez takes advantage by using the current tension between the 2 super powers to spark a full-blown war. What affects both the current and overall course is the branching storylines in Black Ops II following the player’s decision. Gamer gets to experience the special strike force missions offered during the campaign which also locks the storyline based on the choices made. Fresh campaign allows gamer to an alternate strike force missions. The Strike Force missions allow players to control wartime assets such as unmanned aerial vehicles, jet fighters and robots.USP: Gamers will see the return of Zombies mode in Call Of Duty: Black Ops II following the implementation of the multiplayer engine.
