Synopsis and Features

Vic Vance is in big trouble. His dream was to become an army officer, but now he is on a path to become the biggest criminal the city of Vice City has ever seen. The motivation behind all this is Vic’s commanding officer, Jerry Martinez. Jerry wants Vic to pick up drugs, kill the people he does not like and help him grow a thriving business. Vic has no choice but to obey him as he has bills to pay for his sick brother. How far will Vic go to support his family or will he disobey Jerry and stop him once and for all? Discover all the answers in Vice City Stories.

Developed by Rockstar Leeds with additional help from Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories will change the way you think about GTA game characters. The single-player campaign will take you throughout Vice City as you try to make sense of what is right and what is wrong.

The missions vary from shooting people, stealing vehicles to finding hidden stashes of money. Just like the previous games in the series, you have to complete one mission to advance to the next. This also helps you in progressing through the story more clearly. Controlling the camera within the game is easier and you can do it with a push of a button. The city is built remarkably well and you can cause mayhem anytime you want.

Driving can be a really fun experience in Vice City Stories as the physics in the game have been improved. There are a wide variety of vehicles to choose from and you can even do a drive-by when driving one. The improvements in the game range from being able to swim to flying helicopters. The animations are smoothly rendered, allowing you to immerse yourself into the engaging gameplay.

The game offers plenty of side-missions for your enjoyment. These range from fire-fighting to vigilante missions and more. You can even harass business owners and set your own illegal activity centres. All these side-missions add more depth to the gameplay. You can even upgrade different business centres set up all over the city.

If you like teaming up with a friend and wreaking havoc all over the city within the game, you can do it as Vice City Stories supports multiplayer. Up to 6 players can play together by creating a network through ad hoc. The different modes available in the game range from death-matches, races, empire takedown, might of the hunter and many others. The audio in the game takes a special mention as many new pre-recorded radio stations are added such as Fresh FM, Wave 103, V-Rock, VCPR and others.
