About The author


Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a very well known poet. He is the father of the much-celebrated actor and legend, Amitabh Bachchan. Harivansh ji was born in the year 1907 and he died at the age of 95 in 2003. He taught English at Allahabad University and later he went to St.Catharine's College, Cambridge University for his thesis on W.B.Yeats.
