The National Eligibility Test (NET), also known as UGC NET or NTA-UGC-NET, is the test for determining the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) award in Indian universities and colleges. UGC NET is considered as one of the toughest exams in India, which is held twice a year i.e. June and December. The exam consists of 2 papers; Paper -1 which is compulsory for all participating candidates and Paper – 2 is related to candidates’ Post Graduation Subject.
