Here you see the enormous painting of Lord Varaha, the third incarnation of Vishnu who killed Hiranyakashyap, the demon. He was visualized having half body of man and half of lion. He had his face like lion together with claws. Lord Vishnu's this avatar had to fight for around thousand years after which he was gained triumph. . The Pattachitra Paintings ( Traditional Handicraft Paintings of Orissa ) originates from Orissa that were used for adorning the Jagganath Temple. The base or the material of the cloth or patta is made by two cotton clothes are pasted by the tamarind paste & later it was painted by the natural stone color.
