Description

Enjoy maximum performance in an ultra-compact, minimalist design with PA 4000.4 4 Channel Amplifier. A toroidal transformer helps keep the amplifier's sleek aluminium extruded design under 2-inch tall while ensuring plenty of clean and efficient power. Low THD, a high signal-to-noise ratio, plus wide bandwidth frequencies makes the PA D4000.4 4 Channel a superior choice for clean and distortion-free power. The super-efficient class D design runs much cooler than the conventional amplifiers. It comes with thermal, DC offset, reverse DC voltage and short circuit protection.

Nickel-plated wire terminals and RCA connectors ensure maximum signal transfer. With the front and rear level controls, you can adjust the gain of the front and rear channels to match the output voltage from your head unit. Low-pass and high-pass frequency controls enable you to adjust crossover overlap for better blending of speakers. Thanks to the stainless steel hardware, the amplifier won't corrode in humid environments.

About the Brand

Polk Audio is a recognized name in audiophile circles. It is reputed to manufacture supreme quality audio products, especially home and automobile speakers. The company also produces a wide range of other audio products such as amplifiers and FM tuners. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, Polk Audio was founded by Matthew Polk, George Klopfer and Sandy Gross in 1972. However, in 2006, the company was acquired by Directed Electronics. After spending a short period of time dabbling in Pro Audio, Polk Audio turned its attention to high end home audio. With the release of the first successful model in 1974, the Monitor 7, Polk Audio started to become a reputable name in the audio industry.
