This Miniature Painting is of Emperor Jahangir Playing Holi with Noor Jaha, Nur Jahan and Jahangir have been the subject of much interest over the centuries and there are innumerable legends and stories about their relationship. They were in love when Nur Jahan was seventeen years old, but their relationship was blocked by Emperor Akbar. Later after their marriage Jahangir gave her the titles of 'Nur Mahal' or 'Light of the Palace' and 'Nur Jahan' or 'Light of the world'.

This is a Handmade Indian Miniature Painting on Silk with the use of Other materials like Selfmade Brushes from Squirrels Hairs, Moulded Wooden Frame (without glass) & Paper Mounting. This is a centuries old rare art and will adorn any decor and is ideal for Display, Collection & Gifting purpose. This Painting is made by Mr. Tilak Gitai who is a renowned artist from Jaipur, India and has got many prestigious awards & recognition in India & abroad for his work.
