Description

Honey bees produce a natural beeswax secreting it from glands on the sides of their bodies. They then scrape the wax off, chew it up and secrete it to the inside of the honeycomb. There, it gradually hardens into a protective lining for the cells where the baby bees are grown, and the honey is stored. Honey bees use the beeswax to build honeycomb cells in which their young are raised with honey and pollen cells being capped for storage. This hardened material not only serves as a physical protection, but also helps keep the hive free of infections and other contaminants. Benefits to the Skin: - Moisturizes Skin It helps to protect and repair rough, dry or chapped skin because it can lock in moisture. - Heals dry and cracked Lips: Beeswax make it perfect lip balm to heal dry, cracked lips. - Reduces Stretch Marks: Beeswax has vitamin A helps produce collagen, which fights stretch marks. - Relaxer: Beeswax candles are great aromatherapy agents. - Soothes temporary itching: If you suffer from dry skin itching or sensitive skin, beeswax is for you because beeswax is anti-allergenic, it is also easily tolerated by even those with reactive skin. - Humectant: Some ingredients "attract" water, and beeswax is one of them. When you put it on, you attract water molecules, helping to keep skin hydrated over time. You can use beeswax for lip balm making, for candle making, beeswax for cosmetics, for beauty, lip balm, lotions, soaps and external application body care products.
