Synopsis
The book The 3 Mistakes Of My Life revolves around three main characters Govind, Ishaan and Omi. These three lads have different personalities but their common love for the game of cricket unites them. They open up a shop which sells cricket based items. Among the three, Govind is the most business minded, Ishaan is the one who is most fond of playing cricket and decides to assist a young cricketer to secure a spot in the Indian cricket team. His sister Vidya wants to make something of her life and is gearing up for her medical entrance test. She is weak in maths and so Ishaan asks his friend Govind to teach his sister. But Govind and Vidya fall in love and try to keep it from Ishaan. Things change when a horrible earth quake wrecks Gujarat and riots are followed soon after. The book is appreciated by numerous readers and is also adapted in a Bollywood movie Kai Po Che released in the year 2013.
