In the study of a son for presentation certain objectives should e set up_ for sep arate study. The objectives should include all those mentioned in this lesson. When the technic is mastered the leader should give himself over wholly to the mood of the song. The technical study then becomes his musical foundation' upon which he builds his ren dition unfettered by technical restrictions.
The success of the song presentation is dependent on the leader's personality as well as his musical preparation. Both are essential. If there is a deficiency in either it should be overcome.
