The book consists of seven stories some long and some short. Some of the stories delve into the psyche of the protagonists, others just skim along like boats floating on a gently flowing stream, and yet others tease the mind like the squirming of an agonised snake leaving it to the reader to figure out what it was all about.
For the authors previous book of short stories, The Revolution and Other Stories, Khurshid Alam, Editor-in-Chief, Contemporary Literary Review India, wrote: Vinay Capila is a compelling story teller. (He) lets his stories evolve on their own and never makes the readers feel he is bending the storyline. That is the power of him.Hopefully the current book qualifies for similar comment.
