ReviewNot able to connect to internet though I have high speed internet. It shows as connected but no pages will be loaded.
Does what its supposed to do. It worked right away with my Tata Docomo sim card. I did not even have to set the APN settings in the router user interface it automatically connected me. You can connect to the router wirelessly from the get go, no need to use the LAN connection for anything. The router comes with a pre-set WiFi password which is given under the battery. You will need this to connect for the first time then you can change all settings from the user interface. The set up was very easy and straight forward. As soon as I set it up I connected my phone and Xbox to it without problems. Its small size like a cell phone so its light weight and takes very less space. White color is nice. Speed is good enough I do not expect more speed than this. Problems: Battery life is too weak. It only lasts for 2-3 hours MAX on battery. The battery drains even if the router is switched OFF which is absolutely crazy. So you have no option but to leave it plugged in and use the battery backup only when power goes out. I am simply hoping that continuously keeping it plugged in will not destroy the battery completely. The range is OK. Since it doesnt have external antennas I expect the range to be limited to two rooms. My Linksys router with 2 external antennas worked across 4 rooms. But then for its budget and small size I am OK with the range. So you should buy this only for personal use. Dont expect to connect 5 people in your house to this. The power button is right next to the power input so every time I want to turn it off I have to remove the cable which becomes annoying. And finally it would have been GREAT if the user interface showed me battery level in percentage like 50%, 10% and if I could turn off the router from the interface. If the interface can allow me to reboot the router wireleslly I dont know why it cant let me turn it off. Overall, this is good product. I am especially happy about its small size and light weight meaning I can carry it anywhere if I travel. Good job TPLINK.
it is portable sleek and almost cell-phone thickness router.I plugged in my Airtel-3G usb dongle, and it came alive instantly. No setup required !
It is very handy and useful. The range is very less, sometimes I cannot get even within 20 feet of the device. Otherwise good.
It works as mentioned, bit worried about battery back up , it comes around 3 hrs. Apart from that, its very handy to use....
