Buys Men Stoles & Scarves online at Snapdeal
If you are like me, a faux scarf or thin multi-coloured fabric pieces make for a good substitute but I find these difficult to do justice with my wardrobe. Clearly, the ideal would be something that was warm and handsome yet differed from anything we currently have in our wardrobes. The answer is clear - why not knit it? Then again... how many of us know what they can't get en vogue this season, especially in Stockport I find that there are two types of knitters. One type who, like me, seeks items that can be bought easily at relatively low prices and another group to whom what they want is expensive and high fashion goods (think Fair Isle shawls or Kate Hepburn dress). Admittedly some people could not care less what they wear provided it looks good but coming from a town where we rarely come across it.

Pattern and materials: The first item that came to my mind was a scarf or stole so we set out with the proceeds from our recent Christmas treat. The story of how I gave it away will be posted at another time, but in short; someone asked to borrow one and never returned it! Of course, this left me wondering who else might get used to such a thing as there were only five other people living on the farm apart from myself.
Difference between Stoles & Scarves
What we ended up with were two identical scarves side by side but these had a huge difference. Firstly, one was made of "Spendex" gauzy polyester type fabric and the other was cotton/fleece in natural (colour not specified). The second wider stole took eight skeins of yarn making it around 5miles long while the simpler scarf used only two skeins which meant consequently a lot less time spent on knitting.

Next time you are thinking about buying something new look around your wardrobe - chances are you may already have enough stuff! It isn't that expensive either; mine came to Rs. 230 and as it's a two-way gift, you don't have to spend much more on wrapping paper! So how can we extend our wardrobe if the only clothes that really fit us are relegated to special occasions? And before any of my city readers write in with complaints about wearing polyester once a year; let me stress this is not something I am advocating but merely illustrating an existing problem.
