One Touch WPS Button

The Cisco WAP4410N-G5 supports WPS, a built-in auto configuration tool with WI-FI Alliance specification which works with any type of computer or operating system. It enables a quick and highly secured set up of your wireless network up and running in seconds.

Exceptional Wireless Technology

An 802.1d Spanning Tree Protocol prevents formation of loops while employing wireless distribution system (WDS) links as redundant links in a distribution system. In order to balance the networking load, it supports a bandwidth control according to the user-defined CPU usage ratios. At the time of booting up, the access point with the help of auto-channel selection feature automatically selects a channel that is least congested to provide you disturbance-free network with negligible connection drops. With the 802.11d regulatory domain, it provides easy client access across several regulatory domains using the radio channel settings. It supports five operating modes such as access point mode, point-to-point bridge mode, repeater mode, point-to-multipoint bridge mode, and wireless client mode. It supports mapping of SSIDs to VLANs which helps in securing separate workgroups throughout wireless/wired domains. Its native support for IPv6, will enable you to utilise and run future generation networking applications and operating systems, without having you to upgrade your equipment.

Advanced Firewall Features

Cyber crimes are increasing at an alarming rate. A secured network connection presents a robust way to curb cyber crimes and related threats. Intruders can access sensitive information on an unsecured network and use it for their advantage to spam you, steal your bandwidth or use your connection to carry out illegal activities. The Cisco WAP4410N-G5 comes with advanced security specs such as WEP and WPA protocols support, rogue AP detection, MAC-based access control, and 802.1x authentication to provide you a highly secured network. The Rogue access point detection feature detects any unapproved and unknown access points in the network and enables the administrator to clamp it down. Wireless clients are authenticated through IEEE 802.1X and an 802.1X supplicant present on the Ethernet port allows the access point device to authenticate itself to the network thereby preventing outside entities from using it or extracting information from it. The device supports 4 BSSIDs, which enable you to create multiple virtual access points. Furthermore, you can enable or disable your SSID broadcast.

Other paramount features

WMM (Wi-Fi Multi-media Extension Support) optimises network speeds for specific programs and enhances the efficiency of conduction of voice calls over Wi-Fi networks.
