One Touch WPS Button

The D-Link 5-Ports Unmanaged Switch has an integrated fast 5-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch that is capable of speedily setting up a wired network. Ethernet data transfer rates ranges from 10 Mbps (half duplex), to 20 Mbps (full duplex), and fast Ethernet ranges from 100 Mbps (half duplex), to 200 Mbps (full duplex). You can efficiently connect several computers to the router at the same time to share as much data as you want, or connect it to a router to share an Internet connection. The hassle-free plug and play installation design of this 5 port Ethernet switch quickly provides smooth internet access without making any compromise on the speed aspect.

Exceptional Wireless Technology

All ports effectively support an automatic MDI/MDIX crossover feature to cut down cable connections by eliminating the crossover cables or uplink ports. This feature lets you plug each port directly to a server, router, hub, or switch using simple straight-through twisted-pair Ethernet cables. The 5 auto-sensing 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, enable a small workgroup to flexibly and quickly connect to Ethernet and Fast Ethernet devices to establish an integrated network. These ports automatically detect the network speed and manage between the network cables 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX. The store-and-forward switch performs the error checking function in your connection. Store-and-Forward switching wait until the entire frame has arrived before forwarding it. This ingress buffering process provides the router the flexibility to support a mix of Ethernet speeds, starting with 10 Mbps.

Advanced Firewall Features

RoHS compliant, D-Link 5-Ports Unmanaged Switch comes with the IEEE 802.3x flow control feature present on each port to lessen dropped packets when the buffer receiving ports are full. This functionality offers a stronger and more consistent connection for all connected devices.

D-Link Green Technology

D-Link 5-Ports Unmanaged Switch comes with a smart D-Link Green Technology which includes features such as IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet, Port standby, Cable length detection and Link status detection to reduce energy wastage. It is designed to transfer large files quickly across networks thus saving energy by cutting down on failed or sluggish large files transfers.  The green Ethernet switch promptly detects the Ethernet cable length and automatically supplies the required amount of energy. The switch also decreases power consumption when ports are in idle state.
