This story is about the six employees working at a call centre. One of the main characters of the story, Shyam Mehta, is a simple boy but he is confused about what is to be done with his life. Then there is Varun who is not at all happy to work there. There are Military Uncle, Radhika, Priyanka and Esha too.
All these employees are upset or disturbed with their lives in one way or the other. They feel that their lives are too mundane. This story tells us how their lives change once they get a call from the God.

Chetan Bhagat, is a contemporary writer who was a banker before he left his job for the love of writing. His books like Five Point Someone, 3 Mistakes of My Life and 2 States have become quite famous and have been made into films as well. His writings are very simple and modern, and the young Indian readers can readily connect with the stories.
