Alyssum White, also known as Sweet Alyssum, because of its sweet smell, with a similar aroma of honey, is a beautiful decorative plant for your garden area or balcony.
Alyssum White is an annual plant growing 5 - 30 cm forming dense clusters of small round white-colored flowers of about 5mm. Ideal for carpeting, bedding, pathways, and edging.
HOW TO GROW
•Alyssum can be easily grown in pots.
•Ideal Temperature - 18 to 22°C.
•Sowing Time - October to November.
•Start by making a mixture of 30% Sand, 40% garden soil, and 30% vermicompost.
•Place the seeds on the top of the soil and spread 1/4 inches layer of cocopeat over it. Gently press to stabilize the placement of seeds.
•Mist the soil daily to keep it moist until the seeds germinate.
•Germination time - 5 to 14 days.
•Alyssum seeds need sunlight to germinate so make sure to provide at least 2-3 hours of it.
•For repotting, make the same composition as before.
•Alyssum White takes a minimum of 40 days to reach its full bloom potential.
